PetiteKnit is the creation of Danish knitwear designer Mette Wendelboe Okkels, who has taken the knitting world by storm with her beautiful, modern and effortlessly wearable designs.

Founded in Denmark in 2016, PetiteKnit has grown into an internationally loved knitting brand, with hundreds of patterns for everyone from beginners to experienced knitters.

Why is everyone talking about PetiteKnit?

There's a reason PetiteKnit patterns seem to pop up everywhere!

When we took over Tauranga Knitting Centre, one of our goals was to introduce some fresh ideas, exciting designers and new inspiration, while keeping everything you already love about the shop.

And PetiteKnit felt like a perfect fit.

We love knitting patterns that are stylish, wearable and worth the time and love that goes into making them. PetiteKnit ticks those boxes.

We also love the opportunity to pair these gorgeous designs with the beautiful yarns we stock, helping you discover new combinations and make something that's uniquely yours.

Because for us, knitting isn't just about following a pattern. It's about choosing the yarn, learning something new, enjoying the process and proudly saying, "I made that!"
